On the last day of the championship in Plovdiv were distributed 8 sets of medals.
The first place in the General Ranking was for Italy, who grabbed 3 golden, 4 silver and a bronze medal. The Americans won 3 times silver and 4 times bronze, which gave them the first place in a number of medals - a total of 10.
Bulgaria recorded its best ranking at the World Rowing Championship on the last day. The newly formed men's scull pair - Kristian Vassilev and Boris Yotov ranked 12th in the final position of the discipline after finishing 6th in final B.
Norway ranked among the winners of the World Championships in the last day. The Scandinavian players won their first medals in Plovdiv - 2 gold medals.
Women №1 became Sanita Puspure (Ireland). Erik Hori (Australia) won the gold medal in Para PR1 Man's Single Skulls.
